The Fujikyu Railway is 26.6km long and runs the entire south-east portion of Yamanashi prefecture. Its starting point of Otsuki Station also connects with the JR Chuo Line. Along the Fujikyu railway, you have a breathtaking view of Mt.Fuji.

Unfortunately, guest who ride the Limited Express Fuji Excursion from JR train stations (Shinjuku, Tachikawa, Hachioji) without Mt. Fuji Pass (including customer who bought the pass online but have not had it activated) will have to purchase the standard Fuji Excursion train ticket without the Mt. Fuji Pass privilege.

  1. When using the Fuji Excursion:
    A separate limited express (all seats reserved) is required. Limited express tickets for departures and arrivals within JR lines, such as Tachikawa and Shinjuku, can be purchased at any JR station.
    If the train is fully booked, you can purchase an unreserved seat manned ticket at station ticket counter on the day of travel. (The fare is the same as for reserved seats)
  2. When using the Fujisan View Express or Fujisan Express:
    A separate limited express ticket and reserved seat ticket is required.
    For online reservations, tickets can be purchased until 23:59 the day before travel. (Purchase of limited express tickets only is unavailable)
    For same-day reservations, tickets can be purchased at manned station ticket counter.

*At manned stations, payment can be made by credit card or cash. (IC card payment is not available)
