[Change in Reservation Method] Notice to Customers Using Busta Shinjuku ~ Kawaguchi

The online booking method for Busta Shinjuku to Kawaguchi route will be changing.

Q1. Why are there separate booking websites?
A1. The Shinjuku-Fuji Five Lakes route is jointly operated by Keio Bus and Fujikyu Bus. From October 1, 2026 (Thursday), online reservations and sales for Fujikyu Bus services (Fujikyu services) will be handled through the Fujikyu Group's reservation site, "Fujiyama Connect," so the reservation site will differ depending on the service you wish to take.

Q2. What happens to reservations, changes, and cancellations for flights scheduled to depart on or before September 30, 2026 (Wednesday)?
A2. As before, you can book both Keio Bus and Fujikyu Bus through Highwaybus.com. There are no changes.

Q3. Will the cancellation process change?
A3. Starting with flights on October 1st (Thursday), you will need to complete the booking process through the website where you made your reservation.
Flights booked through Highwaybus.com → Cancel via Highwaybus.com
Flights booked through Fujiyama Connect → Cancel via Fujiyama Connect
Please note that cancellation fees may apply depending on the terms and conditions of each website.

Q4. What if I want to change my booked flight to a different flight?
A4. Changes to flights within the same booking site can be made through the site where you made your original reservation. Changes cannot be made across booking sites. For example, if you want to change a flight booked on Highwaybus.com to a flight handled by Fujiyama Connect, you will need to cancel your original reservation (a cancellation fee may apply) and then make a new reservation on the site where you want to change your reservation.

Q5. What if I accidentally made a reservation on the wrong website?
A5. Transfers across different websites are not permitted. Please cancel your reservation on the website where you originally booked and make a new reservation. A cancellation fee may still apply in this case.

Q6. I don't know which bus (Keio bus or Fujikyu bus) I should take.
A6. If you have already made a reservation, please check the sender and reservation website name of your reservation confirmation email. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask at the ticket sales ticket counter price.

Q7. Can I still make and cancel reservations by phone or in person at ticket counter price as before?
A7. You can use our services by phone or in person at ticket counter price. However, a prescribed cancellation fee may apply.

Q8. Can I still use coupon tickets / multi-ride ticket I purchased from Highwaybus.com after October 1st?
A8. From Thursday, October 1st onwards, this service is only available on routes sold through Highwaybus.com.
Please note that this service cannot be used for flights booked through Fujiyama Connect.

Q9. Can I check the timetables for Keio Bus and Fujikyu Bus on either website?
A9. Yes, both sites display timetables for all flights.
Once you select your desired bus route, you will be automatically redirected to the booking website of Operator (Highwaybus.com or Fujiyama Connect).

Q10. I heard that you can also purchase Keio Railway tickets through Fujiyama Connect. Is that true?
A10. Yes, we receive some seats from Keio Bus for sale, and you may be able to book Keio buses through Fujiyama Connect. Also, if you book a bus through Fujiyama Connect, you can change from a Keio bus to a Fujikyu bus.

Q11. Can I use points and coupons I've earned on Highwaybus.com on Fujiyama Connect?
A11. Points and coupons are handled independently by each website.
Points earned on Highwaybus.com can only be used on that site, and points earned on Fujiyama Connect can only be used on that site.

Q12. Are there any differences in seat assignments or train cars?
A12. Seat reservation rules and vehicle amenities vary depending on Operator.
Please note that the vehicles used for Keio and Fujikyu services may differ. For details, please check the service information on each booking website.

Q13. Is it possible that Operator a flight I've already booked might change?
A.13 No. For flights departing on or after October 1st (Thursday), Operator the flight at the time of booking will remain the same for already booked flights.

Q14. When do you start accepting reservations?
A14. Reservations for travel on Thursday, October 1, 2026 will begin on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Please check the announcements on each reservation website for details on the reservation start date and time. Tickets can be issued from September 1st at ticket ticket counter price on the Yamanashi side (Kawaguchiko Sta., Fuji-Fuji-Q Highland, Asahigaoka Sales Office, etc.).

Q15. Will the fare change if the booking method changes?
A15. No. There will be no change to the fare for the Shinjuku-Fuji Five Lakes line after October 1, 2026 (Thursday).

Q16. What happens if I change Date of ride or flight across October 1st?
A16. If Operator operating the revised flight changes, you will need to cancel and refund your current reservation and then make a new reservation and purchase a new ticket on the new reservation website. Please note that a prescribed cancellation fee may apply.

Q17. When can I purchase Fujikyu Bus tickets at Busta Shinjuku Terminal ticket ticket counter price?
A17. Sales of Fujikyu Bus tickets at Busta Shinjuku ticket ticket counter price are scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 24, 2026. Sales at ticket vending machines at Busta Shinjuku are scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 1, 2026. Please note that from September 1 to September 23, even if you have made a reservation for Fujikyu Bus through the call center, advance ticket issuance at Busta Shinjuku will not be possible. Tickets will be available for issuance at the Yamanashi side ticket counter price (Kawaguchiko Sta., Fuji-Q Highland, Asahigaoka Sales Office, etc.) from September 1.

Q18. What should I do if I want to get my bus ticket issued at Busta Shinjuku before September 24th?
A18. Fujikyu Bus tickets will be available at Busta Shinjuku ticket counter price from September 24th (Thursday). If you wish to purchase tickets at Busta Shinjuku before September 24th, please use Keio Highwaybus.com. Customers using Fujikyu Bus should purchase tickets at the Busta Shinjuku ticket ticket counter price after September 24th, or use the ticket ticket counter price on the Yamanashi side.

Q19. Does the discount for Kawaguchiko Sta. parking lot "Fujiyama Parking" apply regardless of which reservation site I use to make my reservation?
A19. Yes. The discount will apply regardless of which website you booked through. Please come to the ticket ticket counter price at Kawaguchiko Sta..
